Let's Talk About The Office Season 8 Episode 3 Opening Scene

In the opening scene of season 8 episode 3, the gang encounter a dog in a car. Fearing the dog may overheat, Oscar takes it upon himself to smash the window.

No big deal? I'd do the same thing. I'm sure most people would. 

here’s where things get crazy...

whilst discussing the situation, Dwight decides to try and give the dog some of his slush drink to cool him down. he proceeds to pour the slush through the open sunroof. 

that's right. ha ha, you didn't read that wrong. 

the sunroof was open... 

I’m a dog owner myself and i’m aware of the dangers of leaving a dog locked in a car on a hot day. 

If the suns out, you better believe my car's in the shade! Windows ajar, and if my car had a sunroof, hell yeah i’d have it open. 

My dog would be having a cool frosty rest whilst I go into the post office to see why I got a red slip through my door.

Just like my personalised car plate reads:

'PARKINTHESH4DEIFITSHOTOUTSIDEANDYOUHAVEADOG'

i am to appear in court on October 10th regarding the legality of this

 i’m guessing the laws are similar here in the UK, meaning you can smash a window when you find a dog trapped in a car, but if i ever had to do it i’d perhaps not smash the window the dog’s sat right behind?! try the passenger or driver seat, oscar. 

..so the dog now has to sit in a load of glass. good thinking 😬

The dog then goes to jump out the window but you’ve seen what happens next.
